P2 (a) Advertising Campaign Proposal

The Brief

Print Advertisement for a Music Artist 

The client’s brief is to produce a print based advertisement, which promotes an upcoming tour for new singer songwriter artist. The artist is to be promoted in such a way that the tour would appeal to a target audience of young music lovers. The advertisement design should match the paraphernalia produced for the world tour, which has opted for a retro look with romantic bond film connotations and a memorable strapline. 

Product

Me and my partner Elizaveta consider to produce the print based advertisement of the popular singer world tour campaign in terms to attract people to visit the concert in different parts of the world. The advertisement would consist of the printed poster with the image of the artist itself and the inscription with her name and the name of the tour "From Russia with Love".

Who it will be aimed at

The advertisement is making he image of the singer itself. The Annie's image will be "teenager hero". She is writing songs about the teenagers problem and how to cope with them. The artist will be aimed at the girls mostly. Also the advertisement should be aimed on teenagers' parents because they allowed their children to visit the concert. Therefore, the advertisement should inform people about the safety aspects on the concert otherwise parents won't let children go on it. The poster also should be aimed at boys who want to look at the beautiful girl and listen to her songs. That's why the picture on the poster has to be attractive and eye-catching.

Marketing of the Product

The product should be marketed at the places where the target audience spend their time. As we are producing the print based posters it would be easier for us to put the posters up. The advertisement also should be put at the concert arenas and the concert tickets stores all around the city. The example of places where the target audience spend their time are shopping centres, city centre, bus stations, next to the schools etc. This areas will be very suitable for the marketing as they would help to increase potential market awareness of the future concert. 

The Campaign Message

The campaign message and USP is to persuade people to come to artist concert through the personal invitation of the singer herself. Th image would be look straight at the potential customers and seem as she invites people to her concert personally. Also the date and the name of the concert will b made in the bright eye-catching way so the posters will be different from the competitors. 

Aims and Objectives

The main aim of the poster will be to increase target market awareness of the future concert.
The aim will be achieved through the objectives such as:
1)Increase customers interest to the poster and concert itself by using eye-catching and unusual image of the singer on the dark background.
2)Attract customers on the concert by using marketing tools such as "the first concert in the country"
3)Increase people's interest and desire by introducing new singles right on the concert 

Target Audience

I think that our singer will have quite similar style with Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande music. We were inspired by their music and style while producing our own ideas.
The target audience will be females from 13 to 25 years old who believe in romance and real love. The style of our singer represent romantic teenager who just started to understand real life and who is confident with her music and songs because they are easier to understand and lots of teenagers will meet themselves in her music and photographs. She is playing guitar and piano so the audience will try to take an example from her and be creative as well.
Also the genre of Annie's music helps to identify her target audience. Her music genre is pop music. This style is one of the most popular all around the world because it's easy to listen to this music all the time. Also usually these song are easy to remember therefore lots of people are aware of the most popular pop songs. The target audience of the pop music genre might be people with the different age range but it is most likely to be young people at ages of around 16-25. It is aimed mostly at teens and usually a majority of the time at young females. I choose the Annie's audience a bit younger because her songs won't have any refers to swearing, violence, alcohol or smoking which are forbidden for the youngest that's why her music might be interesting for the 13 years old and older teenagers.
